morning to Lachung, a small picturesque
village surrounded by high snow cap peaks,

(3,500mts 25 kms) AM: Drive after breakfast
through conifer and rhododendron forest

(2,085m 117km/4 1/2 hrs) AM: After breakfast

PM: Visit the Pemayanstse Monastery, situated
adjacent to the hotel. This is a premier
monastery of Sikkim built in the 17th
century. O/N
Day 07: Pemayangtse-Khenchapladri
lake-Pemayangtse (24kms/ 1 1/2hrs)
Amm: After breakfast drive to Khechapledri
lake which is also known as the wishing
lake, and is considered very sacred and
no water sport or other activities besides
prayer and worship are allowed around
it.
PM: A short walk to Sangachholing Monastery
(2km/45min) located on a hillock above
the hotel. On a clear day the view of
the mountain ranges is breathtaking. O/N
Day 08: Pemayangtse-Kalimpong
(133 kms/5hrs) Breakfast: full day Sightseeing

drive to Hilley and then walk through a
luch forest of Pines, firs and rhododendron
to Versay. Overnight Tourist hut/Tent.
Day 04: The entire day
is spent in exploring the area and savoring
the sight and the scent of the flowers.
Overnight at tourist hut/tent.
Day 05: Versay-Dentam-Pemayangtse
(2,085m) AM: After breakfast walk downhill
to the village of Dentam (7kms) and drive
to Pemayangste.
PM: Visit the Pemayangste Monastery, situated
adjacent to the hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 06: Pemayangtse-Khecheodparlri
lake -Pemayangtse. AM: After freakfast drive
to Khecheodpalri lake which is also known
as the wishing lake and is considered very
sacred by the Sikkimese.
PM: A short walk to Sangachholing Monastery
92 km / 45min) located on a hill top above
the hotel. O/N at Htl.
Day 7: Pemayangtse-Siliguri
(133kms) AM: Drive leisurely along the Tista

Trek
thought forest with abundant Himalayan
flora and alpine meadows, to the very
lap of Mount kanchen Dzonga. Incredible
views of 6000 to 8500 mtrs high peaks
of the KanchDzonga group, upland meadows,
yaks, lakes and glaciers. Choose between
Dzongri meadows, 4320 mts, or the head
spining Gochela pass, overlooking the
Talung Glacier, 4940 mts. You have to
be really fit to tackle the intial straight
climb from 1780 mts to 4400 mtrs over
25 kms, you need to work on your climbing
muscles and lung capacity. |
