7 days Jomsom treks
1st Day: Pokhara – Jomsom – Tukuche (820m – 2590m)
At the place of Pokhara one can fly to Jomsom (2750m). After that trekking trail leads to Tukuche, through the place of Marpha reaches Tukuche (2590m). Walking time takes about 4 hours, overnight at camp.
2nd Day: Tukuche to Ghasa (2590m – 2010m)
From Tukche trail leads easy path through bank of kali Gandaki River to Kalopani. After there, trail descending through the place of Lete village and enter to Ghasa. Walking time takes about 5 hrs, over night at camp.
3rd Day: Ghasa – Tatopani (2010m – 1190m)
From Ghasa, Mountain trail leads almost descending to beautiful waterfalls of Rupsachhara. After that, it passes several villages reaches Tatopani. , Walking time takes approximately 5 hours, overnight at camp.
4th Day: Tatopani – Ghorepani (1190m – 2850m)
At the place of Tatopani, after a short walk one can crosses Kali Gandaki River Bridge. From there trail leads climbing very steeply on the stone staircase. The climb continues steeply to the large village of Ghara, Shikha, and finally through the Rhododendron forest reaches Ghorepani. Walking time takes about 8 hours, overnight at camp.
5th Day: Ghorepani – Tadapani (2850m – 2590m)
At the place of Ghorepani to Poonhill, trail leads climbing very steeply on a stone staircase. Walking time takes about 1½ hour to the top. From the Poonhill, one can see view of Sunrise and breath taking mountains views such as Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Annapurna I, and Annapurna south, Himchuli,
Annapurna III, Fishtail, Annapurna IV, and Annapurna II and so on.
After Poonhill ascends to Ghorepani from there to Tadapani mountain trail leads several times ascending and descending. It passes several villages through oak and Rhododendron forest. Walking times takes approximately 6 hours, overnight at camp.
6th Day: Tadapani – Ghandrung (2590m – 1940m)
Trail leads to Ghandrug from Tadapani all the way of descending and flat through the oak and Rhododendron Forest. Walking times takes about 3 hours, over night at camp.
7th Day: Ghandrung – Pokhara (1940m – 820m)
At the place of Ghandrug trail leads to Nayapul, the route almost descending and flat through the bank of Modi River and passes several villages such as Kimle, Shyauli Bazaar and Birethani and comes Nayapul. Walking times takes about 5 hours, after Nayapul drives back to Pokhara.
